measures how quickly systems must be restored. An RTO of 30 minutes means the system must be  operational again within 30 minutes of an outage. within minutes, while email services may tolerate an hour or two of downtime. Less critical systems,  such as reporting or archival platforms, can typically remain unavailable for longer.  Defining realistic
